For large family events (15-40 people), we recommend our private “Library” room, which with its warm atmosphere and child-friendly dining furniture can be an ideal venue for families arriving with a large group of children. Guests can decide whether they prefer À la Carte dining or our pre-arranged “Family” menu when making a reservation. We serve the “Family menu” with plate service, providing the advantage of faster and smoother service. For the little ones, there is an option to order a “small portion” from our menu offerings, and in this case, please specify in advance how many children are expected at the event. In the event of birthdays, guests can bring their own cake for lunch/dinner, and our waitstaff will be happy to assist in serving it to the celebrant. For mini gatherings (5-10 people), we have the option to separate the celebrants from incoming guests in the main hall of the restaurant. Located just a 5-minute walk from Bakáts Square, our internal hall and private room, evoking the romantic period of the writer, Gyula Krúdy, can comfortably accommodate and host up to 120 people in total, in which case our restaurant operates as a closed-event venue. For smaller weddings, up to 40 people, we can offer our “Library” private room, which can be completely separated from our internal space, ensuring an undisturbed celebration. We put together a traditional menu tailored to everyone’s taste for dinner, but we can also fulfill individual requests upon request. One of the essential elements of every wedding is the role of the band, as wonderful musicians are needed for the perfect atmosphere. If there is no pre-booked band, we can assist in this as well: from traditional wedding musicians to a bar band playing modern hits or even a house party DJ, we can recommend artists from a wide repertoire, who are recurring performers in our restaurant. Let’s not forget about the decoration: although the venue itself is inherently charming, we dress it up in a special way for the big day, and we are open to working with the couple’s own decorator to create the appropriate atmosphere. For student and retiree groups, tourist groups, friend gatherings, or bachelorette and bachelor parties, we can offer our 40-person “Library” private room, which can be completely separated from our internal space, ensuring that no one disturbs the joint program. We give special attention to groups, as they can enjoy numerous advantages, such as ordering a pre-arranged, fixed menu, which is significantly more discounted than our À la Carte menu. Thanks to the pre-scheduled time, we can also take care of colorful programs. One popular choice for our guest groups is the Hungarian folklore show, where, with respect for traditions, the dinner procedure takes place with the participation of a 3-piece Gypsy band and beautiful musical accompaniment, guaranteeing an experiential and entertaining time. The evening can be made even more memorable with the inclusion of folk dancers, who revive traditional Hungarian culture.
