OUR STORY

In October 2023, the Vörös Postakocsi Piano & Music Bar was established in the basement of the Vörös Postakocsi Restaurant, aiming to preserve the unforgettable unique, elegant, and romantic atmosphere of classic turn-of-the-century pubs and cabarets. Our venue can accommodate up to 80 people, enticing discerning live music enthusiasts with fantastic programs every Friday and Saturday. In addition to our resident musicians, we organize featured events every month, showcasing a diverse range of contemporary artists. Experience the pulsating magic of the night; we warmly welcome you on the corner of Ráday Street and Erkel Street!

Traditional Hungarian restaurant for which we just stopped randomly as it was in our way to the city centre. The food was good but not extraordinary. Goulash soup was served very hot 🔥

The beef stew had me daydreaming - not an experience I get THAT often. Highly recommended. Very nice decor, service was great as well. Music felt a little out of touch with the overall vibe - but it's just a funny detail.

Tasty Hungarian style gooseliver （sauteed and placed on top of Hungarian veggie stew） , goulash, and braised pork ribs, as suggested by the waiter. Not too salty for my taste. Live music performance, but performer might go to your table as a hint to tip them. Better to prepare some bankbotes in advance in your wallet if you find the performance good, which was true in my case.

Me and my wife took part in the wine tasting event. Wines from Szárazhegy winery were presented by the winemaker himself. Two dining rooms were packed with guests. We had a great time, wines and meals were very good quality at a friendly price. We will definitely come back.
